He is survived by: his wife Rachel Morrison Quinley; his children, Ernest L. Quinley, Jr. (Pam) and Rhonda Quinley Daugherty (Andric); his grandsons, Ernest L. Quinley, III (Nikki), Philip N. Quinley (Christa) and Brent A. Daugherty (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Vivian Quinley Luke Quinley, Elijah Quinley, Neena Quinley, Logan Quinley, Zachariah Quinley and Andric Daugherty; and his siblings, Jewell Quinley Aaron (Stephen), Katherine Quinley Breeden (Danny), Robert Steven Quinley (Sharon), Mary Alice Quinley Little and Rebecca Quinley Jeffers.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forest Hill Church of God (5508 Moffett Rd, Mobile, AL 36618). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
