He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Sr. Looney and Dorothy Looney; his wife Shirley; his brother Mike Looney; his grandson Adam Looney; and his pet Champ.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Dollar (Ron), Kathy Looney and Greg Looney (Elaine); his grandchildren, Ronny Dollar, Jackson Looney, Daniel Churchwell (Morgan) and Jennifer Wilkerson (Daniel); his granddaughter-in-law Jordan Looney; and his brothers, Terry Looney (Marie), Billy Looney (Sandra Herrington) and Richard George.
Gene's wishes were in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Adam Looney Foundation 501 (c)(3).
