Knowles, Sr.; her parents, Catherine Schottgen Yarborough and Leslie Lamar Yarborough, Sr.; her stepmother Evelyn Yarborough; her grandparents, Geoge Everitt and Willie Dorinda Yarborough; her siblings, Leslie Lamar Yarborough, Jr. (Adele), Everitt Joseph Yarborough and Joy Yarborough Turner; her aunts, Lucille Yarborough Boone (Jewel), Ethel Yarborough Bailey (George) and Mainor Yarborough; her great-aunt Pauline Schottgen Alexander; her mother-in-law Addie Ray; and her children, Dan Knowles, Jr. (Brenda) and Beverly Knowles Vinsant (Stanley).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Knowles Evans (Sidney) and Kathy Knowles McArdle; her grandchildren, Tracie Vinsant Stanley (Craig), Vickie Vinsant Bailey, Wade Knowles and Marc Knowles (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Brandon Bailey (Marian), Nicholas Bailey, Daniel Knowles, Caroline Knowles, Maia Knowles Mobile and Erin Knowles; her great great grandchildren, Helen Blake Bailey and Evelyn Mae Bailey (Evie) of Gulfport; and her sister-in-law Rosalee Yarborough (Turnerville).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
