Francis Thomas Bergan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 76, Francis Thomas Bergan in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Francis may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Francis T. Bergan and Martha Bergan; and his sister Marianne Bergan Cordier. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Cronin Bergan; and his children, Kerrie Anne Newbrough, Dr. Timothy John Bergan (Ashley Shoquist) and Bradley Patrick Bergan. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and multiple nieces and nephews.
A procession will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Loretto Catholic Chapel, Nas Pensacola Aboard Naval Air Station (150 Hase Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
