He was predeceased by: his parents, George Windell Ashbee and Grace Etta Boutwell Ashbee. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Ashbee (Hannah), Blake Ashbee (Carrie) and Alexandra Callaghan (Ethan); his sister Sharon Saucer; and his grandchildren, Bishop, Pierce, Hugh, August and Clover.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to SOMI Club, an organization close to Wayne's heart.
