She is survived by: her husband J. Michael Patten; her sons, Thornton Rose (April) and Alan Colvin (Kimberly); her stepdaughters, Michelle Hodge (Scott) and Tracy Lynn Whitehurst (Robbie); and her brother William "Bill" Matthew Findley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
