Gorden Comans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gorden Comans in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Comans and Evie Comans; his siblings, Hubert Comans, Johnnie Comans, Paul Comans, Raymond Comans, Bernice Beyer, Jean Teasley, Vernie Comans and Baby Comans; and his grandson Justin Schmitt.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Comans; his children, Kay Gilley (Mark), Sandra Bailey (David Higginbotham) and Pat Comans (Kerri); and his grandchildren, Leslie McDaniel (Creed), Lane Gilley, Shea Gilley (Marina), Lauren Braxton (JT), Emmaleigh Bailey, Peyton Bailey, Madison Comans and Sawyer Comans. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to the Moody Fire & Rescue who assisted him numerous times through the years.
