She is survived by: her children, George Rush (Mary), Greg Rush, Laurie Bass (Joey) and Susan Ellis (Derik); her grandchildren, Tiffany Hooper (David), Brittney Duhon (Ben), Mallory Obert (John) and Hunter Stevens; her great grandchildren, Lily Grace, Charlie Hooper and John Wilson Obert; and her sisters, Myrtice Lowery and Joanie Savage (Allen). She is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ United Church (6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Untied Church or Lifeline Counseling.
