It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn F. Jones of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gwendolyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stone Street Missionary Baptist Church (311 Tunstall St, Mobile, AL 36603). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Whispering Pines Cemetery (1979 Cheeseman Ave, Mobile, AL 36613).
