He was predeceased by : his parents, Connie Henry Taylor and Claudia Malone Taylor (Doggett); and his siblings, Cecil Taylor, Henry Taylor, Jewel Stanford and Hazel Stokley.

He is survived by : his wife Annette Taylor (Powell); his children, Steve Taylor (Joyce), Stephanie Casto (John) and Tim Taylor (Denise); and his grandchildren, Chris Taylor (Sawyer), Kelsey Taylor Smith (Carson), Jessica Casto Wilson (Sam), Courtney Casto Calhoun (Clay), Allison Casto Huguley (Sam), Nathan Taylor (Cheyenne), John Paul Taylor (Elise) and Kathryn Taylor Shoupe (Nick). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
