It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Carpenter in Mobile, Alabama, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Carpenter and Vyette Carpenter; his wife Charlotte Carpenter; and his son Richard Carpenter. He is survived by : his children, Terri Carpenter of Pascagoula, MS and Michael Carpenter of St. Petersburg, FL; and his stepdaughters, Kim Thomas (Ralph) of Dallas, TX, Karen Purdy of Shreveport, LA and Kris Clements (Marcus) of Shreveport, LA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home (4811 Telephone Rd, Pascagoula, MS 39567). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the Machphelah Cemetery.
