She was predeceased by: her sisters, Minnie Higdon and Faye McCrory (William); her sons, Randall and Donald Payne (Donnie); and her grandson Michael Payne.
She is survived by: her caregiver Lois Allen; and her sons, Walter (Bill) and Doug Payne (Jeanie). She is also survived by ten grandkids, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home (1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
