It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jake Jenkins of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Fannie M. McCants Jenkins; his siblings, Gabriel Jenkins, Vylee Stewart and Hagar M. Brown; his sons, Jacob Mass, Climmie McCants, Jerry McCants and Clyde McCants; and his granddaughters, Sherry McCants and Thelma Effie Borders.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Jenkins, Rebecca McCants, Constance Borders (Robert) and Robert McCall (Angelita); his siblings, James Jenkins, Sylvester Jenkins, Evelyn Gunn, Ocia Davis and Helen Perrote (Martin); his sister-in-law Edna Grant; and his goddaughter Altovise McNeil (Carlos). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives, and, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (505 N Price Ave, Prichard, AL 36610). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smalls Mortuary (950 S Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603).
