He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evariste Champagne, Sr. and Avis Johnson Champagne; and his brother Eddie. He is survived by: his wife Danielle Herring Champagne; his children, Jay, Chuck and Alyce (Hiro); and his sisters, Yvette Cummings, Lori Melvin and Cathy Champagne. He is also survived by eight nephews; and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
