He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Fleming, Sr. and Anne Dyas Fleming; his brother William E. Fleming; his grandson Van Browne; and his brother-in-law Mark Schroder.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Fleming Browne (Chris) and James Hal Fleming, Jr. (Samantha); his siblings, Robert L. Fleming, Jr. (Leigh Anne), Nancy Fleming Sims (John), Ginger Fleming Schroder (Mark) and John Patrick Fleming; his grandchildren, B. Lane Browne, Caroline B. Cook (Paul), Carson Browne, Shepherd Browne, Brooks Browne, Dyas Browne, Baylor Browne, JoyAnna Browne, Virginia Browne, Camille Browne, Georgia Browne, Charlotte Browne, Jackson Fleming and Sophia Fleming; his great grandchild Christopher Cook; and the mother of his children Mary Gay Hunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
