Though James Lamar may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Lamar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Linwood Morrison, Sr. and Frances Barrett Morrison; his brothers, Jerry Leon Morrison, Ernest Linwood Morrison, Jr. and Phillip Charles Morrison; and his cousin Sharon Myers.
He is survived by: his son Tyler Morrison; his siblings, Francis Earl Morrison and Nelda Ernestine Morrison; and his cousin Bill Myers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pine Crest Cemetery (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
In his younger years, he would donate clothes and money to a multitude of charities.
