He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Earl Parnell and Nena Hosford Parnell; his siblings, Earlene McGehee, Joe Parnell, Jr. and Jack Parnell (Laverne); his son Earl Parnell; his brother-in-law Stan Schult; and his wives, Mavis Parnell and Pauline Parnell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nena Schult, Elmer Pete Parnell (Kaye) and Emmett "Punk" Parnell (Judy); and his sister-in-law Gertie Parnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
