It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Alderman Lambert (Mobile, Alabama), born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Alderman, and John Alderman, Sr.; her husband James L. Lambert (Jim); and her brother John Harvey Alderman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Janée Bonner (Jo) of Mobile and Mike Lambert (Cathy) of Roswell, Georgia; her grandchildren, Lee Friedman (Andrew) of Mobile, Robins Bonner (Erin) of Tuscaloosa, James Lambert of Marietta, Libby Lambert of Atlanta and Molly Lambert of New York City; and her great grandchild Virginia Louise Friedman of Mobile. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
