We announce the death of Janet Douglas Nix (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her sister Carole Douglas; and her parents, John Douglas and Betty Douglas. She is survived by: her husband John Michael Nix; her children, Michael Nix, Douglas McAdory, Joseph Nix and Rebekah Wales; her grandchildren, Ethan, Aislinn, Glenn and Annabel; and her brothers, Albert Douglas and John Douglas Jr..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
