It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Davis Wilkes (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Davis and Zerleen Davis; her sister Sharon Tharp; her son-in-law Brian Shanks; and her niece Rebecca Tharp.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Wilkes; her children, Olivia Shanks and Jeff Wilkes (Kim); her grandchildren, Thomas, Maggie, Katie, Caroline and Andrew; and her siblings, Patti Hicks and Dan Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: First Baptist Tillman's Corner, Dauphin Way Baptist Church, or Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
