She was predeceased by: her parents, William Scott Ensor, Sr. and Annie Lee Kilgore Ensor; her husband James Perry "J. P." Hudgins; her son Steven D. Hudgins; her granddaughter Michelle Lynn Casey Curry; and her siblings, Mary Ensor Thomas, William Scott Ensor, Jr., Geraldine Ensor Abbott, Vera Nell Ensor Lynn, Viva Lee Ensor Golden, Johnnie Lou Ensor Hill, Charlie Edward Ensor, Grady Scott Ensor, Hazel Ensor Thomas and Azalee Ensor.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindi Grillo (Frank) of Mobile, Alabama; her daughter-in-law Lynn Hudgins of Birmingham, Alabama; her brother Malcolm Hewitt Ensor, Sr. of McCalla, Alabama.; and her grandchildren, Trea Kines (Kate) of Oakland, California, Jonathan Kines of Arley, Alabama, Joshua Kines (Emily) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, James Grillo (Demi) of Mobile, Alabama, Diana McKenzie (Dwayne) of Alabaster, Alabama and Christopher Hudgins (Mary) of Birmingham, Alabama. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
