She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joe Nettles Morton and Helen Sharp Morton; her husband Jones Walter Franklin; her pet Skipper; and her significant other Glenn James.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Haven Animal Shelter in Fairhope, Alabama, where Joann adopted her beloved three leg cat, Skipper.
