With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Slobig McLendon of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Louie H. "Mac" McLendon; her parents, Elvin Ellsworth "Joe" Slobig and Andria "An" Thierry Slobig; and her son-in-law William "Bill" Hamrick. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura McLendon Davis (George D. Jr.) and Darcie McLendon Hamrick; her grandchildren, George D Davis III (Faith B.), Andria Marie Colvell, Amberly Brooke Colvell and Michael A. Davis (Kendyl D.); and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Kay Davis and Haylee Ann Davis.
