He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley McDaniel and Mary Frances McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Lisa McDaniel; his daughters, Rilie Cooper (Kenny) and Rena Barker (Ted); his grandson Easton Davis; his siblings, Sandra Causby (Joe), Brenda Fugate and Roger McDaniel; and his friend Schultzie. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
