He was predeceased by: his father Arthur J. Noel; his grandson Easton; his mother Nellie; his siblings, Jane, Evelyn, Betty, Frank of Lawson's Machine and Joe; his stepson Kenneth; and his close friends, Irene and Joe Shaffaval.
He is survived by: his wife BeBe; his sons, Gene (Emily) and Johnny (Stephanie); his grandson Jarod; his son-in-law Hieu; his granddaughters, Kimberly, Laura and Kayla; and his brothers, AJ, Law and George. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, John asked that any donations in his memory be made to the Children's Medical Center at UMass Memorial Health (Worcester) or Boston Children's Hospital Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in his grandson's name, Easton Noel, who he called "Tank".
