She was predeceased by: her parents, Giles David and Lida Alston Chapman; her husband Donald Travis McVay; and her siblings, Giles David Chapman Jr. and Joyce Chapman Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, Mike McVay (Victoria), Donna Grundhoefer (Donny) and Jody Dixon (Darrell); and her grandchildren, Giles McVay (Jessica), Travis Betbeze (Brittany), Samantha Betbeze (Mafa) and Dylan Dixon. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephew.
