June O. Schilling Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June O. Schilling of Mobile, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry F. Schilling; her parents, Wilson Joseph Oberkirch, Sr. and Sadie Watson Oberkirch; and her siblings, Wilson Joseph Oberkirch, Jr., Gladys Oberkirch Woolsey, James Ross Oberkirch, Sr. and Virginia Oberkirch Egan.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Joseph and Kenneth Wayne Mead (Karen); her sister Sadie Oberkirch Ardoyno (Bert); her sister-in-law Francis Laurence Oberkirch; her grandchildren, Samantha Mead Williams, Jacob Elliot Mead (Brittany), Elizabeth Brooke Mead, Ethan Joseph Mead (Heather), Nichole Mead Bacchetti (Gianna) and Jesse Samuel Mead; and her great grandchildren, Avery Williams, Kohen Williams, Elliot Mead, Carter Mead, Houston Mead and Cooper Mead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Little Flower Catholic Church (2053 Government St, Mobile, AL 36606). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
