With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura O'Rourke (Mobile, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura O'Rourke to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Burton and John Burton; and her siblings, Peggy Clolimger, Marcia White and Billy Burton.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph O'Rourke; her daughter Mary Nicaud (Harvey "Nicky" Nicaud); her grandchildren, Abagail Nicaud (Luke Avenel), Ian Nicaud, Claire Nicaud, Luke Nicaud and Genevieve Nicaud; her great grandchildren, Elijah Nicaud and Evangeline Avenel; and her siblings, Harry Burton, Eddy Burton, Manny Burton and Mike Burton.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church (1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Catholic Cemetery (1700 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Mobile, AL 36617).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
