He is survived by: his children, Rachel Samuel of Mobile, Phillip Samuel (Jessica) of National Harbor, MD and Terrence Beard of Mobile; and also, Homer Hendricks of Mobile, Tamara Franks, Serenity Sarr of Mobile and Wendell Christian of Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
