Maria Teresa Diaz Obituary
We announce the death of Maria Teresa Diaz of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 94. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Dalmasi and Maria Elisa Dalmasi; her husband Rafael Franklin Diaz; and her siblings, Antonio Dalmasi, Lucy Dalmasi Castro, Josefina Dalmasi and Luisa Dalmasi Buhring.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nazareth Diaz Spikes (Kenny) and Leda Diaz Gordon (Gregory); and her sisters, Pura Dalmasi Alba and Carmen Dalmasi Pelleramo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cathedral-Basilica (2 S Claiborne St, Mobile, AL 36602). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
