He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Rios Benitez; and his brother Raymond Rios Benitez Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Helen Mott Benitez; his daughter Clara Benitez of Birmingham, AL; his mother Rose Caudillo Benitez of Sacramento, CA; and his sisters, Rita Benitez of Fayetteville, AR and Rosemarie Ruggieri (Jon) of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ascension Funeral Home & Crematory (1016 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36695). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ascension Funeral Home (1016 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36695).
