He is survived by: his wife Helen Mott Benitez; his daughter Clara Benitez of Birmingham, AL; his mother Rose Caudillo Benitez of Sacramento, CA; and his sisters, Rita Benitez of Fayetteville, AR and Rosemarie Ruggieri (Jon) of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear relatives and friends.
