He was predeceased by: his wife Corene Wallace Pitts; and his son William Grady Pitts. He is survived by: his children, Buddy Pitts, Jr. (Shannon), Raymond Pitts (Jakiethia) and Janet Jenkins (Kevin); his daughter-in-law Glenda Pitts; and his brother Wayne Pitts. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
