We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2024, at the age of 96, Mary Collins of Mobile, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Beatrice Weldy and James Herman Weldy, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Inge Purcell, Jr. (Judy), Charlene Purcell Holtsford (Alex) and Carolyn Purcell; her brothers, Horace Vernon Weldy and Johnny Weldy; and also, Pomeranian and LuLu. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Moffett Road Baptist Church, the animal shelter of your choice, or your favorite charity.
