He was predeceased by: his brother Charles L. Nelson; his grandparents, Charles L. Nelson, III, Cora Carnley Wray, Edwin L. Wray, Con Kelly and Vaudie Jewell Manley; and his stepfather Ross Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his parent Bobbie Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Michelle Nelson (Todd Buss) of Dallas, Texas, Carl Clark of Needham and Tony Nelson (Charlene).
