He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Wittner and Mary Margaret Wittner; his brother Carl Wittner; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Alford Wittner and Don Cargill.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Cargill of Dawsonville, GA; his nieces, Leah Wittner Bond (Mark) of Alabaster, AL, Wendy Wittner Stewart (Joe) of Marietta, GA and Cathy Cargill Edwards (Troy) of Gainesville, GA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Margaret Bond, Brooke Edwards, Blythe Friddell, Will and Jack Stewart; and his friend Janice Beebe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mike's memory to one of the following organizations: Luke 4:18 Fellowship or the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
