He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward, Sr. Franklin and Helen Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Franklin; his son Nathaniel Dale; and his siblings, Cynthia Franklin (Connie), Corrine Powe, Earl Franklin and Robert Franklin (Tanya). He is also survived by five grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Small's Mortuary - Mobile (950 S Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603).
