She is survived by: her husband Susanta Kumar Dey; her daughters, Suranjana and Nandita Dey; her son-in-law Miles Smith; and her siblings, Ava Banik, Sankar and Sanjit Banik. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
