Ouida Sue Coker Obituary

The memory of Ouida Sue Coker (Mobile, Alabama), born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her former husband Elmer Lewis Carnes; her parents, Charles Lusk and Edna Lusk; her brother Carlos Aaron Lusk; her daughter Deborah Lynn Carnes; her husband Sim Cullen Coker; and her grandson John W. Cruit, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Karen Rogers (Terry), Cathy Brown (Doug) and Steve Coker (Janet). She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
