She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford McRae and Edna McRae; her daughter Dalelia Sue Combs; her husband E. B. Combs; and her son-in-law Hagan Gamble.
She is survived by: her daughters, D. D. Combs Gamble and Deena Combs Montgomery (Ken); her grandson Shawn Combs (Stephaine); her significant other Frank Sullivan; and her close friends, Kathy Kynaston and Ginger Sessions. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Her request was that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
