It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Plearse Larry Clarke Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Plearse Clarke, Sr. and Orvia Freeman Seltzer Clarke; his grandparents, Earnest, Adline Tyre Clarke and Leona Freeman Toomey; and his brother Andre "Bubba" Seltzer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Adline Clarke, Bertha Hodges (James), Angie Abdullah, Stova Clarke, Frank S. Seltzer, Jr. (Edna) and Frederick Kennedy, Sr. (Betty); his niece Bianca Clarke; his godson Michael Robbins; and his friend Joyce Eaton Pritchett. He is also survived by nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Small's Mortuary - Mobile (950 S Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Cemetery (1700 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Mobile, AL 36617).
