She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Mae; her grandfather William T. Cleveland (Papa Will); her husband Clarence Clifford Barton, III (Buzz); her sons, Roy B. Barton and Stephen Barton; her great grandchildren, Juan Ramon and Juan Samuel Sierra; and her half-sister Martha Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Barton McCalla (Tom), Kathryn Barton Beasley (Russell) and Clifford Barton; her daughter-in-law Zona King Barton; her grandchildren, Andrew Barton (Heather), Christian Delafield, Kirsten Thibodeaux (Wayne), Emily Falgoust (Jordan), Rebecca Sierra (Juan), Evan Beasley (Mary) and Garrett Beasley (Noelle); her sister Ramona Hunt; and her half-sister Rebecca Valentine. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
