He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy and Louise Barton; and his grandparents, Cyrus Elijah and Gladys Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ellen Payne Barton; his children, Tiffany Green (Kyle), Candace Robbins (Chad), Elijah "Eli" Barton (Meagan), Jacob Barton, Eric Harman (Stella) of Mandeville, LA and Benton Jackson (Kayla) of Hoover, AL; his grandchildren, Victoria Rhodes (Daniel), Dalton Vaughn, David Green, Ethan Green, Carson Robbins, Channing Robbins, Laura Chae Robbins and Cyrus Barton; his siblings, Dr. John "Chris" Barton, Charles Barton (Mina) and Barbara Grenga (David); and his pet Lily. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
