He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Joseph Ladner, Sr. and Beulah Burch Ladner; and his granddaughter Katherine Ladner. He is survived by: his wife Rose Vella Ladner; his sons, Johnny Ladner, Alan Ladner and Randy Ladner; and his grandchildren, Sahra Cooley (Josh) and Caleb Ladner. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (6300 McKenna Dr, Mobile, AL 36608). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
