He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burgess Saloom and Shames Margaret Wehbie Saloom; and his brother Jimmy George Saloom (Deborah) of Atlanta. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Bolanos Saloom of Evergreen; his son Patrick Salem Saloom of Brewton; his sister Georgetta Jones (Billy) of Enterprise, Ala.; and his sister-in-law Karen Saloom of Brewton.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (18 W Wright St, Pensacola, FL 32501). Visitation was held on Friday, August 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Woods.
In lieu of flowers, family members ask that memorial donations be made to his favored charities, including The Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast School for Ministry in Pensacola, Fla; Wilmer Hall Children's Home in Mobile, Ala. and Beckwith Camp and Conference Center in Fairhope, Ala.
