He was predeceased by : his father Charles Wayne Anderson. He is survived by : his mother Shelby Elder Pate; his sisters, Kim Chlystek (Chip), Paige Gobin and Jessie Turner (Scott); his son Chad Anderson (Jennifer); and his granddaughters, Della Kaye Anderson and Ireland Shree Carroll. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the American Cancer Society.
