Velda Hurst Watson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 2, 2023, at the age of 67, Velda Hurst Watson of Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Carrie Bolling Hurst; her stepfather Charlie Hurst; her aunt Charlotte Bolling; and her uncle Johnny Bolling. She is survived by: her husband George F. Watson; her sons, Nicholas Watson and Michael Watson; her sister Angie Dixon; her nieces, Sharon Bougere and Kimberly Dixon; her nephew Charlie Dixon; her uncles, Charlie Bolling and Reverend Joe Bolling; and her cousins, Mike Brown, Bart Bolling and Dewey Bolling. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
