With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter L. Boykin in Mobile, Alabama, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter L. Boykin Sr. and Mary McIlwain Boykin; and his siblings, Alvin Boykin and Virginia Sanderson. He is survived by : his children, Jason Gerald Boykin of Pace, FL and Melissa Bond of Grand Bay, AL; and his grandchildren, Aza Boykin, Carson Boykin, Seadon Boykin, Corbin Bond and Spencer Boykin.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home (4811 Telephone Rd, Pascagoula, MS 39567). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (300 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530).
