With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Leslie Hester of Mobile, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Sean Keith Hester; and his sister Linda Reeves. He is survived by: his former wife Aleta Davis; his daughters, Karen Harris (Jeff), Cynthia Phillips (Jason) and Lesley Brantley (Dale); his brother Russel Hester; and his grandchildren, Wesley Kate, Bradley Elisabeth Harris, Brayden Thornburg, Ryan Freeman and Bobbie Grace Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
