With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Gordon Howard of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith Inez Howard and Artis Gordon Howard; his wife Linda; his children, Matthew Howard (Ty) and Holly Howard Shumpert; his brothers, Charles (Bunny) and Bennie (Janie); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Ally and Braden Shumpert. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to the Mitchell Cancer Institute, Office of MCI Dev. 300 Alumni Circle, Mobile, AL. 36688 as well as to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
