We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2021, at the age of 87, William Martin Mingus Sr. (Mobile, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Lyndall Mingus; and his parents, Charles C. Mingus and Rita M. Mingus. He is survived by: his sons, William Mingus, Jr. (Pamela), Gordon Mingus (Cindy) and Scott Mingus; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Mingus Bedgood (Ryan), Brian McClelland (Sara), William Mingus, III, Justin Mingus (Katie), Garrett Mingus (Gabrielle), Andrew Mingus and Rebecca Mingus. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
